As part of the ongoing secondary school outreach programs supported by the Faculty of Engineering and Tam Wing Fan Innovation Wing, we invited a delegation of teachers and students from ELCHK Lutheran Academy (ELCHK-LA) to visit HKU on May 3, 2024. This event commenced with a welcoming remark by Prof. KW Chow, Associate Dean of Engineering, which is followed by an interactive workshop and collaborative activities based on the latest technologies of wireless power transfer. The main objectives are to inspire and arouse students’ interests in science and technology alongside promoting HKU Engineering. The workshop provides a structured and immersive environment where students can engage in hands-on, experiential learning. In addition to the workshop, we also arranged two guided tours for them, one at Tam Wing Fan Innovation Wing One followed by another at imseCAVE HIS Lab.
