A Collaborative Research Fund (C7074-21G) Workshop titled Unveiling Neural Activities through Advanced Microscopic Technologies was held on Thursday, August 29, 2024 at CB603, 6/F, Chow Yei Ching Building, The University of Hong Kong (HKU). The workshop was organised by Professor Kenneth Kin-Yip Wong from the Department of Electrical and Electronic Engineering at HKU, together with The Chinese University of Hong Kong and The Hong Kong Polytechnic University.
During the workshop, experts from various disciplines shared and discussed the advancements of optical technologies and their relevance in answering fundamental neurological questions, as well as in further facilitating neural manipulation. With more than twenty active participants engaged in fruitful discussions, this momentum is expected to catalyse more exciting interdisciplinary collaborations in the future.
