TCL Corporate Research Hong Kong has established a technology transfer collaboration with The University of Hong Kong, securing the license for the “Hundred-Kilobyte LookUp Tables” super-resolution technology developed by Professor Ngai Wong‘s team. The research has been accepted for publication at IJCAI 2024.
This innovative technology breaks through the limitations of traditional CNN architecture, achieving high-performance image super-resolution with only hundred-KB level storage. In TCL’s display products, this technology will complement TCL’s advanced display technologies, delivering enhanced image quality with lower computational costs.
