Around 50 MSc students joined the visit to Huawei’s Dongguan R&D Village on May 30, 2025. The R&D Village, also known as the European Town, is a European-style research and development campus located in Dongguan, China. It features 12 architectural clusters designed after various European towns and cities, including Paris, Verona, and Oxford. Dr. Wilton Fok: “It is a good opportunity for our students to widen their exposure to see how R&D is conducted in the industry. This trip also helped our students to connect with their HR department and be helpful for their career planning and development”.
