Professor Edith Cheuk Han Ngai of the Department of Electrical and Electronic Engineering has been named a 2025 ACM Distinguished Member by the Association for Computing Machinery (ACM), the world’s largest educational and scientific computing society. She is recognised for her contributions to Internet of Things (IoT) and mobile edge computing.
ACM has named 61 new Distinguished Members worldwide in 2025. All inductees are registered members selected by their peers for outstanding technical achievements and/or volunteer service.
