Created by the research team led by Professor John Ioannidis, the Stanford University has released the “Updated science-wide author databases of standardised citation indicators” in early October.
There are 25 HKU EEE academics have been listed among world’s top 2% scientists 2023, in which 4 scholars are among the top 200 in their respective fields.
The “Updated science-wide author databases of standardised citation indicators” is a database of more than 100,000 top scientists across the world on the basis of standardised citation indicators, an individual’s scientific research output, co-authorship and a composite indicator for a single recent year data (2022) pertain to citations received during calendar year 2022. They were grouped into 22 subject fields and 174 sub-fields using the indicators. This version (6) is based on the October 1, 2023 snapshot from Scopus, updated to end of citation year 2022.
