Biography
Yi Wang received his Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering from Huazhong University of Science and Technology (HUST) in June 2014, and his Ph.D. degree in electrical engineering from Tsinghua University in Jan. 2019. From March 2017 to April 2018, he was an exchange student researcher at the University of Washington. Before joining the University of Hong Kong in September 2021, he served as a Postdoctoral Researcher in the Power Systems Laboratory, ETH Zurich from February 2019 to August 2021.
He currently serves as the secretary of IEEE Customer Systems & Smart Buildings Subcommittee and the secretary of IEEE PES Working Group on Energy Forecasting and Analytics.
