Biography
Dr. Zhuo (Chuck) Deng received the Ph.D degree in 2014 and the B.Sc. degree in 2010, both from the Department of Physics, The University of Hong Kong. His research interests include silicon and silicon nitride based integrated photonics for healthcare, bio-sensing/imaging and quantum computing applications, as well as III-V semiconductor optoelectronic materials and devices physics. Before joining the department, he was a senior researcher at the Fraunhofer Centre for Applied Photonics in Glasgow, UK.
