The event “Infineon Day” organised by Infineon and Prof. Can LI from the Department of Electrical and Electronic Engineering at The University of Hong Kong (HKU-EEE) was successfully held on April 16, 2025, in the Tam Wing Fan Innovation Wing Two. After the intriguing welcome speech by Prof. Kaibin HUANG, Head of HKU-EEE Department, we had the pleasure of hosting technical experts from Infineon. The speakers shared the story of this global semiconductor industry leader from Germany and delivered talks on IoT, Smart Campuses, WBG technology and career development experience with our engineering students. Lastly, the event concluded with over thirty active participants engaging in an interactive and prize-giving Q&A session, providing students and professionals the opportunity to connect. We hope this has been instrumental in helping them explore their future career development choices.
