
Research Assistant Professor Yanmin ZHU of the Department of Electrical and Electronic Engineering at The University of Hong Kong has been selected as a finalist for the 2025 Young Scientist Award, organised by the Hong Kong Institution of Science (HKIS).
The Young Scientist Award aims to recognise young scientists and engineers in Hong Kong who demonstrate outstanding research excellence and strong potential to advance science and technology. The awards are presented annually at the HKIS Annual Conference, with finalists shortlisted through a rigorous review process conducted by expert selection panels.
Dr. Zhu’s shortlisting reflects the high quality, originality, and impact of their research, as well as their promising trajectory as an emerging researcher in their field. The Department extends its warmest congratulations to Dr. Zhu on this notable achievement.
