The 1973 graduates celebrated with Professor S.Y. King on his 97th Birthday. The celebration took place in Vancouver, Canada on 14 September, 2016. Prof. King is the first Head of the Department of Electrical Engineering, and his headship was between 1960 & 1974 and between 1977 & 1980. He was Pro-Vice-Chancellor between 1974 and 1977.
