E.Y.M. Lam
Professor Edmund Lam, Associate Head (Research and Innovation) of the Department of Electrical and Electronic Engineering, has been awarded as Institute of Physics (IOP) Fellow in May 2023.
Founded in 1874 and now with a worldwide membership of over 20,000, the Institute of Physics is a learned society and professional body that works to advance physics education, research and application. Fellow is the highest level of membership attainable within IOP and is for those who have made a significant impact on their sector (physics or related subject). Professor Lam is being recognized for his significant contributions in image science and computational imaging.
