Biography
Yang Han obtained his PhD (in Artificial Intelligence) at the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering, the University of Hong Kong (HKU), under the supervision of Prof. Victor OK Li and Dr. Jacqueline CK Lam, with Prof. Jon. Crowcroft being his external examiner. He is a member of the HKU-Cambridge AI to Advance Well-being and Society Research Platform. He received an MSc in Computer Science (with distinction) from HKU and an MPhil in Technology Policy from the University of Cambridge. His research interests cover artificial intelligence (AI), machine learning, causal analysis, spatiotemporal data analysis, and their applications in air pollution and health, and Alzheimer’s Disease studies.
