Biography

Jianqi HU is an Assistant Professor at the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering, The University of Hong Kong (HKU). Before joining HKU, he was previously postdoc researcher at École Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne (EPFL) in Switzerland, and Ecole Normale Supérieure in France. He received the B.E. from the University of Electronic Science and Technology of China in 2016, and the Ph.D. in photonics from EPFL in 2021. His research interests include integrated nonlinear photonics, integrated ultrafast photonics, photonic computing and structured light.
