Biography

Tao Liu received the B.E. degree from Northeastern University, China, in 2003, and the Ph.D. degree from the Australian National University (ANU), Australia, in 2011. From 2012 to 2013, he conducted postdoctoral research at ANU and the University of Groningen. In 2013, he joined the University of Hong Kong as a postdoctoral fellow, where he was later appointed Research Assistant Professor in 2015. He was promoted to Assistant Professor in 2019 and to Associate Professor in 2025.
