Poster Display Day is an annual event of the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering (HKU-ECE), showcasing the culmination of students’ Senior Design Projects. The event highlights students’ dedication and innovation in applying the engineering knowledge and skills they have developed throughout their studies to real-world technical challenges. Beyond technical excellence, the projects also foster self-awareness, self-management, and the ability to explore and extend students’ personal capabilities.

This year’s event was successfully held on April 21, 2026, at the Rayson Huang Theatre, The University of Hong Kong. During the ceremony, the Best Poster Award and Outstanding Poster Award were presented to sixteen students who achieved the highest marks for their outstanding poster presentations, as evaluated by judges. Among all participants, three students who attained the highest overall scores were honoured with the Best Poster Award in recognition of their exceptional performance. We were honoured to have Prof. Wei-Ning LEE, Associate Head of the Department, present the awards to the recipients.

The event concluded with warm closing remarks by Prof. Leo Tianshuo ZHAO, Senior Design Project Coordinator, who expressed his sincere appreciation to all undergraduate students, guests, and colleagues for their contributions to the event’s success. We look forward with great anticipation to the continued achievements and future endeavours of our students.
